On August 1, 2015, 21-year-old Sergio Chaparro-Loya was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting at a mobile home park on Blake SW in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The investigation led to the arrest of David Lazio-Rios, who was charged with second-degree murder for Chaparro-Loya's death. In June 2017, Lazio-Rios pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
