On April 1, 2016, a Vietnamese-American male named Jerry Nguyen, aged 24, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The violence erupted at the House of Pho, a Vietnamese restaurant on San Mateo Boulevard that was owned by his family. Jerry, along with his 31-year-old brother, Anpha Nguyen, were both fatally wounded in the attack.
