In the fall of 2020, a young man's life was tragically cut short in a violent encounter at a park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Elijah Mirabal, a 22-year-old male, was fatally shot on October 29, 2020, during what he believed was a prearranged marijuana deal. The plan, as he understood it, was to meet a girl at North Domingo Baca Park to conduct the sale. He was accompanied by another man for the meeting.
