In the quiet community of Las Vegas, New Mexico, the life of 27-year-old Leroy Phillip Salazar was abruptly cut short on the evening of January 18, 2021. A male individual, Salazar was a friend to many and known for his giving nature within the community. That night, a confrontation at his residence in the 2200 block of Collins Drive escalated into violence, resulting in his untimely death.
