On January 18, 2021, David R. Gracia-Dominguez, a 42-year-old resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was fatally shot in the early hours of the morning. The incident occurred near the intersection of Chico Road and Rhode Island Street in northeast Albuquerque. According to reports, David was known to his friends and family as 'Chilendrina.'
Following the shooting, Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers released an image of a suspect who was seen fleeing the scene as a passenger in a red or
maroon sedan. Despite this effort, the individual remained unidentified, and no arrests were made in connection with the homicide.
David was born on June 3, 1978, in Ciudad Guerrero, Chihuahua, Mexico, and moved to Albuquerque during his adolescence. He is survived by his wife, son, mother, father, sister, and brother. Described as noble, kind, and hardworking, David was known for his intelligence, sense of humor, and love for reading, writing, singing, and watching movies. His greatest pride was his son, David Andres, and he shared a close bond with his mother, who instilled in him a strong faith in God.
As of now, there have been no updates regarding the identification or arrest of the suspect involved in David's death. The Albuquerque Police Department continues to seek information from the public to assist in solving this case.
