On March 11, 2021, Fernando F.H. Martinez, a 35-year-old resident of Española, New Mexico, tragically lost his life in a violent incident in Chamita, a rural area in northern New Mexico. Martinez was found deceased in the rear seat of an SUV, with three other individuals nearby who had sustained injuries. Two additional occupants of the vehicle were unharmed.
