Ryan Albert Saavedra Jr., an 18-year-old from Albuquerque, New Mexico, lost his life to gun violence on April 21, 2021. The incident occurred during a drug-related robbery that was set up through social media. On the night of April 20, 2021, Arianna Hawkins arranged a drug transaction with Saavedra, which was a ruse to rob him and his girlfriend at a park.
