On December 5, 2001, Ivandro Correia, a 17-year-old resident of New Bedford, Massachusetts, was fatally shot. The incident occurred at the intersection of East Rodney French Boulevard and Davis Street. Correia was driven to St. Luke's Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
