In the early morning hours of April 28, 2018, the life of Dwayne Thomas, a 34-year-old Black / African American male from Boston, Massachusetts, was tragically cut short. He was discovered on Hartford Street in the Dorchester neighborhood around 2:45 a.m., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response from authorities, Dwayne Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene. His death marked the 16th homicide in the city of Boston that year.
