In the early morning hours of October 26, 2019, tragedy struck in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston when 25-year-old Hamza Warsame, a Black/African American male, was fatally shot. The incident, which also left two other individuals wounded, unfolded on Westminster Avenue. Responding to reports of gunfire around 3:47 a.m., Boston police officers discovered two victims at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds.
