In the late afternoon of May 26, 2021, the quiet neighborhood of High Street in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, was disrupted by a tragic event that would end the life of 38-year-old Peter Schifone, a Caucasian male. Authorities were called to an apartment building at 64 High Street around 4:00 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Inside one of the apartments, first responders made a grim discovery. They found Schifone suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Medical assistance was rendered at the scene, and he was quickly transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in nearby Attleboro. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Peter Schifone succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
