On October 6, 2015, Jonathan Pulido, a 21-year-old, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in the Gage Park neighborhood of Chicago. Gage Park, located on the Southwest Side of the city, is an area that has experienced its share of violence, often a result of ongoing gang conflicts and other socioeconomic challenges.
