John Rivera, a 29-year-old Hispanic man, was fatally shot in Springfield, Massachusetts, in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 20, 2022. The incident occurred at approximately 1:45 a.m. in the 0-100 block of Longhill Street. First responders transported Rivera to Baystate Medical Center, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
