On October 23, 2015, 22-year-old Makek Taylor was killed in Chicago in a tragic incident of gun violence. Taylor was shot in the South Side of Chicago, in an area known for high levels of violent crime. Reports indicate that Taylor was shot multiple times, and despite attempts by emergency services to save him, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after the attack.
