In the late summer of 2015, the quiet community of Clackamas, Oregon, was unsettled by a grim discovery that marked the end of a life and the beginning of a lasting mystery. On September 2, 2015, Lance Estler Fisher, a 53-year-old White male, was found deceased in his home. His death, which occurred alongside that of his fiancée, 49-year-old Brenda Schumacher, was the result of homicidal violence, a stark and brutal event that left friends, family, and investigators searching for answers.
