Mason Larue Gebe, a 75-year-old male, was found dead on the evening of July 20, 2016, at a coastal highway wayside between Lakeside and North Bend, Oregon. An Oregon State Police trooper conducting a check around 6:24 p.m. discovered him seated in a folding chair beside his 2015 Jeep Patriot at milepost 230 on Highway 101. Authorities identified him as a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada.
