On April 12, 2017, a tragic incident occurred in Oregon, resulting in the deaths of two young girls and their father. The victims were identified as Janet Cortinas-Duran, aged 8, and her sister Jasmine Duran-Cortinas, aged 11. The girls were shot multiple times by their father, Jaime Cortinas, 42, in a horrific act of violence.
