In the fall of 2018, a series of violent events unfolded in Portland, Oregon, culminating in the tragic death of 70-year-old Carol Horner, a White female. On the evening of November 19th, Horner was a passenger in a car driving across the Burnside Bridge. In what has been described as a random act of violence, she was struck and killed by a stray bullet.
