In the early hours of a Saturday morning in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood of Southeast Portland, the life of 31-year-old Sharline Esah, a female, came to a tragic end. On April 30, 2022, police were called to a residence on Southeast Woodward Street shortly after 2:00 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene.
