On April 17, 2014, Frank Anthony Oldaker, a 56-year-old Caucasian male from Lesage, West Virginia, was found deceased in his home. An investigation revealed he had been fatally shot.

Authorities subsequently arrested his girlfriend, Angela Kay Chapman. According to the criminal complaint, Chapman shot Oldaker in the head while he was asleep on a couch at their residence.
