On the afternoon of March 20, 2016, Christian Ortiz, a 23-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot in Chicago's Albany Park neighborhood. The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. in the 4800 block of North Albany Avenue. A male suspect, described as wearing a baseball cap and dark jacket, approached and opened fire before fleeing the scene on a bicycle.
