In the quiet, rural landscape of Akron, Iowa, the life of Jeremy Barger Hebert, a 40-year-old White male, came to a violent end on October 6, 2017. He was discovered in his home suffering from a gunshot wound and was later pronounced dead at a Sioux City hospital.
