In the fall of 2022, the life of 23-year-old Godfrey Oghissa, a Black / African American male, was cut tragically short in Des Moines, Iowa. On the evening of October 12th, Oghissa was the victim of a fatal shooting. First responders rushed him to a local hospital in critical condition, but despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries later that same day.
