In the quiet community of Maquoketa, Iowa, the life of Michael A. Berg, a 60-year-old Caucasian male, was brought to a sudden and violent end on November 2, 2022. On that Wednesday evening, at approximately 5:35 p.m., law enforcement responded to a report of a shooting in the rural area of Fulton, just north of Maquoketa.
