In the early morning hours of June 11, 2014, a violent confrontation in the Little Chicago subdivision of Fort Duchesne on the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation tragically cut short the life of Evan Cuch, a 23-year-old Native American woman. The incident, which unfolded just before 2 a.m., stemmed from a dispute that led to gunfire.
