On a September evening in 1998, a promising life was tragically cut short on a quiet walking trail in Farmington, Connecticut. Agnieszka Agnes Ziemlewski, a 26-year-old White Caucasian female, was found shot to death on September 24, 1998. Known to her friends as "Nikki," Agnieszka was a Polish immigrant who had come to the United States with her family in the early 1980s.
