On a tragic Father's Day in Hartford, Connecticut, a dispute between neighbors over a dog escalated into a violent confrontation that ultimately claimed the life of 27-year-old Nikia Rankins, a Black female. The incident, which occurred on June 19, 2022, also resulted in the deaths of two other individuals, Chase Garrett, 39, and Christine Dang, 27.
