In the small town of Mulberry, Arkansas, a routine traffic stop on September 1, 1927, escalated into a tragic event that claimed the life of Deputy Marshal James Jackson. While on duty, Deputy Marshal Jackson and his colleague, Marshal Henry Hamm, pulled over a truck occupied by a man and a woman.
