In the summer of 2016, a quiet family homeplace in Horatio, Arkansas, became the scene of a tragedy that cut short the life of Dr. Llewellyn Don Brown. A respected 70-year-old male, he was visiting his hometown from Cave Creek, Arizona, when his life was abruptly ended on Saturday, July 9, 2016. His death was the result of gun violence that also claimed the life of his sister-in-law, 66-year-old Debra Johnson.
