In the late summer of 2016, the life of Michael Dale Bowles, a 34-year-old man from Knoxville, Arkansas, was cut short. An altercation on the evening of Thursday, September 1, 2016, at a residence on County Road 1678 in Knoxville, would prove to be fatal. During the dispute, which also involved another man and a woman, Bowles sustained gunshot wounds.
