In the summer of 2017, a weekend in Little Rock, Arkansas, was marked by violence that claimed the life of 55-year-old Evilio Castro Alvarez. Originally from Mexico, he had moved to the city two years prior to work in the construction business. His life came to an end on a late Saturday night in July at the Spanish Valley Apartments, a place he not only called home but also where he worked.
