On July 29, 2017, at approximately 10:30 p.m., 55-year-old Evilio Castro-Alverez was fatally shot outside his residence at the Spanish Valley Apartments on Baseline Road in Little Rock, Arkansas. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots and subsequently finding Castro-Alverez lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Witnesses described a male suspect fleeing the scene shortly after the incident.
