On March 17, 2021, 20-year-old Kayla Marie Keatts was fatally shot in Texarkana, Arkansas. The incident occurred shortly before noon in the 1000 block of Locust Street, where officers found Keatts suffering from gunshot wounds. She was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to her injuries later that evening.
