On a Sunday in October 2022, police officers in Trumann, Arkansas, responded to a call and found Bobby Watson Jr., a male resident, suffering from gunshot wounds. The initial attack left him with serious injuries, and though he fought for eight months, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries in June of 2023. His death was the direct result of a gunshot wound to the neck, transforming an assault case into a homicide investigation.
