Elijah E. Jackson, aged 36, was fatally shot on December 17, 2016, in the Fernwood neighborhood of Chicago. The incident was part of a home invasion that turned violent, resulting in the deaths of Jackson and three others. The victims were discovered in a residence on the Far South Side of Chicago. Authorities indicated that the crime might have been motivated by robbery, and the multiple fatalities pointed to a highly organized and deliberate act of violence.
