Elmer Beal "Jack" Peterson, born on December 15, 1903, in Mesa, Arizona, was a respected member of the community. He was the son of Henry Peterson and Cora Beal, and a graduate of Chandler High School who furthered his education at what is now Arizona State University. From 1932 to 1936, Jack served as an Arizona Highway Patrol officer, earning high regard in his field. After his tenure in law enforcement, he transitioned to a career as a car salesman in Tempe.
