In the winter of 2013, a typical Wednesday morning in Phoenix, Arizona, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of Steven Lawrence Singer, a 48-year-old male. On January 30th, a dispute escalated inside a north-central Phoenix office building, culminating in a tragic shooting.
The gunman, later identified as 70-year-old Arthur Douglas Harmon, entered the building and opened fire. Singer was among the victims and succumbed to his injuries hours after the attack.
The violence also claimed the life of another man, 43-year-old Mark Hummels, who passed away in the hospital days later. A third individual, a woman, sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the incident.
