On November 29, 2024, at approximately 1:29 a.m., the Lubbock Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at CC's Bar and Grill, located at 1605 50th Street in central Lubbock, Texas. Upon arrival, officers discovered 28-year-old Nick Rodela-Garcia with serious injuries. He was transported to University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.
