On November 29, 2024, at approximately 2:48 a.m., 31-year-old Hispanic male Paul Pacheco Jr. was fatally shot while walking in the 7700 block of Garvey Avenue in Rosemead, California. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of gunfire and discovered the victim with a gunshot wound to the back.
