On the evening of January 27, 2023, Liberty County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at a residence on County Road 4882 in Dayton, Texas. Upon arrival, they discovered 46-year-old Brandy Thomas deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
