On May 25, 2023, Tina Kelley, a 45-year-old resident of Gilchrist, Texas, was found deceased in her home on Head Hunter Drive. Responding to a welfare check, Galveston County Sheriff's deputies discovered her body with multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigations revealed that Kelley's boyfriend, Raymond Bernard Borden Jr., had been arrested on May 21, 2023—the same day authorities believe the murder occurred—for driving while intoxicated and evading arrest in Kelley's pickup truck. Dur ...
