On July 4, 2023, at approximately 12:35 a.m., the Harrison County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting in the Ore City/Lazy Lakes area of Texas. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 35-year-old Jeremy David Vick suffering from a gunshot wound. He was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
