On November 15, 2023, Janice Catia Langdon James, aged 42, tragically lost her life to gun violence in Houston, Texas. She was found deceased alongside her mother, 66-year-old Mary Jane Langdon. Both women suffered fatal gunshot wounds in separate incidents within northwest Harris County.
