On December 14, 2023, at approximately 3:52 a.m., Manor Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Walmart parking lot located at 11923 E US 290 Highway in Manor, Texas. Upon arrival, they discovered 19-year-old Luis Angel Frias-Hernandez, of Elgin, Texas, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
