On March 23, 2024, in Temple, Texas, 36-year-old Jasmine Armstrong was found deceased from a gunshot wound at her residence on Broken Shoe Trail. Emergency responders arrived around 7:55 a.m., but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities quickly identified her husband, 38-year-old Britain Armstrong, as the primary suspect. Belton Police located his vehicle later that day, leading to a brief pursuit that ended near mile marker 324 on northbound I-35. Upon approaching the crashe ...
