On July 28, 2024, 30-year-old Dipak Oli was fatally shot during an armed robbery at the Gator Stop #3 gas station near Elm Mott, Texas, where he was employed as a cashier. Surveillance footage revealed that two armed individuals entered the store early that morning. When Oli attempted to flee toward the back exit, one assailant, wearing a blue mask, fired his weapon, resulting in Oli's death.
