On September 1, 2024, the body of 20-year-old Kameron Montre Anderson from Bedford, Texas, was discovered in the trunk of his burning vehicle in Turnertown, Rusk County. An autopsy revealed that Anderson had suffered two fatal gunshot wounds.

Investigations revealed that Anderson had been in constant communication with 18-year-old Nathaniel Hall from Troup, Texas, on the night of August 31, 2024. Cell phone records indicated that Anderson traveled from Bedford to Hall's residence in Sm ...
