On January 1, 2023, at approximately 10:35 p.m., deputies responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex on the 2800 block of Westwood Lane in Carmichael, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 19-year-old Salvador Velasquez Robledo of Stockton lying unresponsive on the ground with a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
