On February 8, 2023, at approximately 12:56 p.m., 25-year-old DeAntone Jaquise Guillory was fatally shot while seated in a vehicle in the 1300 block of South Mayo Avenue in Compton, California. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to the scene and found Guillory with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner classified Guillory's death as a homicide, citing multiple gunshot wounds as the cause.
