On the morning of February 18, 2023, in Gonzales, California, authorities responded to reports of a physical altercation between two brothers, Brian Luis Violini, aged 65, and his older brother, 68-year-old Kirk John Violini. Upon arrival at the scene on Alta Street, deputies discovered both men suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
