On March 27, 2023, 16-year-old Samantha Vuong was found deceased in her bedroom at her family's residence in West Covina, California. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner determined the cause of death to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, ruling it a suicide.
